Watch Dave Grohl’s Super Bowl LVII ad for Crown Royal

Over the years we’ve been given plenty of opportunities to see Dave Grohl’s fantastic acting talents, and last night he showed them off yet again for a new Crown Royal commercial.

Aired during the Super Bowl, Dave and the Canadian whiskey brand teamed up to share their thanks for Canada and all they’ve created for their big TV slot – praising Canadians for the more obvious stuff like poutine and hockey, along with some perhaps lesser-known ones like instant potatoes and even football.

Helpfully, for added impact the Foo Fighters frontman had some visual aids, eating a peanut butter sandwich (because Canada has given the world peanut butter), standing in front of an ironing board (apparently that’s a Canadian thing too), and happily squeezing a good ol’ fashioned whoopee cushion (also originally from the Great White North).
