BBC Music have uploaded Avril Lavigne’s performances of Sk8er Boi and I’m With You from this weekend’s incredible Glastonbury set.
The Canadian pop-punk superstar reportedly brought one of the biggest crowds ever to The Other Stage yesterday (Sunday, June 30), with 70,000 festival-goers making their way to see her historic, 12-song set.
“I can’t believe it’s taken me 22 years to finally play Glastonbury, but it was amazing,” Avril told BBC after the show. “The audience were incredible, everyone was up on shoulders, holding signs and there were colourful smoke bombs going off, it was just so cool.”
In an interview with Jack Saunders, she also seemed pretty surprised when she was told that the festival had to stop letting people in to her performance as it had gotten so big, agreeing that it was “fucking huge”.
