Album review: Ocean Grove – ODDWORLD
Melbourne party-starters Ocean Grove get weird in both good ways and bad on album number four…
Which Download festival rules them all? Cast your vote below!
This weekend, Download festival goes fully virtual for the first time. Due to the unprecedented circumstances the world finds itself in, the British festival season has been wiped out entirely, but the rock and metal weekender isn't letting that stop the fun!
They'll be streaming a bunch of live performances from scheduled headliners KISS, System Of A Down and Iron Maiden, plus much much more. There'll be over 15 hours of performances across the weekend, which will suit us nicely.
Some of the performances will be taken from previous Download festivals, which got us thinking. Which Download was the greatest? Since it started in 2003 with Iron Maiden and Audioslave, there have been some incredible standout moments: Metallica with guest drummers in 2004, Ozzfest returning in 2005, Slipknot's epic headline set in 2009, AC/DC bringing their own stage in 2010, Linkin Park playing Hybrid Theory in full in 2014, Guns N' Roses' three-hour marathon in 2018...
So much has happened over that June weekend over the past 17 years that it's too difficult for one person to come up with the answer to Best Download Ever – which is why we're asking you! Cast your vote in the poll below and the winner will be announced on Friday.
