The big review: Incineration 2025
Sunny Camden Town succumbs to darkness as Triptykon, Blood Incantation and an unholy host of extreme metal’s biggest and best descend for the superb Incineration Festival.
Triptykon will headline London metal fest Incineration in 2025: “Let’s make this a truly morbid moment before the world finally falls apart entirely…”
London’s Incineration Festival have made their latest announcement for 2025’s line-up. As well as confirming Conjurer and Blackbraid, headliners Tryptikon will play a special set by frontman Tom G. Warrior’s legendary Celtic Frost. We saw them do it at Bloodstock last year, and it was awesome.
“Celtic Frost’s path would have been a very different – likely far more subdued – one if it hadn’t been for the lustrous support the band received from the then largely London-based UK music press from mid-1980s on,” says Tom. “This, along with uncounted crucial musical influences in my youth, was the basis of a lifelong bond between the UK and all of my musical endeavours.
“It is thus with utmost pleasure that we in Triptykon accept Incineration Fest’s invitation to take a break from work on our new album to perform a very distinct Celtic Frost-based concert in May 2025.
“Let’s make this a truly morbid moment before the world finally falls apart entirely.”
Incineration - also featuring Blood Incantation and Spectral Wound, among others - takes place at Camden’s Roundhouse, Electric Ballroom, Underworld, Black Heart and Devonshire Arms on May 3, 2025.
