Surprise! Billie Joe Armstrong will be back in London next month for another special show with his side-project The Coverups.
Here's what Green Day played at their Hella Mega warm-up show for vaccinated-only fans
Last night, Green Day made their return to the stage for their first proper gig in almost 18 months.
Just days ahead of their long-awaited Hella Mega Tour kicking off with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, Green Day hit Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a super-intimate warm-up show for fully vaccinated fans only.
The 1,800 capacity venue sold out super-fast, and the horde of double-jabbed fans were treated to a pretty stellar setlist, featuring classic tracks from American Idiot, Dookie and Nimrod, as well as new track Pollyanna and a cover of KISS' Rock And Roll All Nite.
Interestingly, there were no tracks played from the band's 2020 album Father Of All...
