Slayer to headline Louder Than Life 2025 after this year’s weather cancellation
With Hurricane Helene disrupting Slayer’s planned appearance at 2024’s Louder Than Life, the thrash legends have revealed they’ll be back to play next year…
Slayer brought the fire and the fury to the UK one last time
Last night (June 16), Donington was painted blood for the last time as Slayer bowed out of the UK. The thrash legends are in the middle of their farewell tour and following an arena run across the country last year, the world's most evil band played their final ever show in the United Kingdom.
Pulling the biggest crowd that Download festival's second stage has ever seen, Slayer tore through an epic 20-song set, spanning their entire career. Engulfed in flames throughout Tom, Kerry and co. fired out the biggest, heaviest guns in their arsenal – from World Painted Blood and Disciple to Raining Blood and Dead Skin Mask.
From the front to the back, the ground became one muddy, moshy mess, fuelled by a primal urge to destroy everything. And with Slayer packing all these monsters, it's easy to see why.
