On state visits, heads of state visiting another country will usually bring a gift to the hosting leader, whether that be a new fancy pen, a nice piece of jewellery or even a local delicacy. But the Danish Prime Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, brought President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo a gift to end all gift giving.
He recently visited the Indonesian leader at the Bogor Palace in Bogor where he presented him with a box set of Metallica's Master Of Puppets. If you're going to give another leader of the free world a present, that is definitely the coolest thing you could probably give them, unless you actually give them Metallica.
In The Jakarta Post, Jokowi said, "Prime Minister Rasmussen understands my favorite [music]."
