These are the most popular music videos of the year, according to YouTube
Following on from Spotify's most popular artists of the year list, video giant YouTube has revealed the ten most popular music videos of 2019 in the UK.
Unsurprisingly, the list isn't wildly different from the most popular artists on Spotify, with the likes of Stormzy, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande making an appearance. But let's be honest, none of them compare to some of the incredible videos we've seen this year from the world of rock and metal. Rammstein's Deutschland video is a thing of beauty, while Slipknot's Unsainted video was the perfect way to unveil the new aesthetic. Oh, and Ghost's time-travelling Kiss The Go-Goat video is just wonderful storytelling.
But if you want to know what the general British populus are shoving into their eyeballs, here's the top ten.
YouTube's most popular music videos in the UK
1. Stormzy – Vossi Bop

YouTube have also unveiled the ten most popular videos in the UK of the year. Liverpool's unprecedented win over Barcelona takes the top spot, while the rest of the list features conspiracy theories, pranks and eating spicy hot wings.
“I think the standout feature of this year’s lists is variety," Roya Zeitoune, head of YouTube trending, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), told the PA news agency.
“There’s a really interesting mix of established YouTube creators, such as Sidemen, James Charles and Hot Ones, as well as traditional media who are developing content that’s perfectly suited for the platform – for example, Sky Sports highlights packages edited specifically for YouTube or viral content from the likes of James Corden.”
