WILLOW and Avril Lavigne team up on catchy new pop-punk collab, G R O W

With WILLOW's new album lately I feel EVERYTHING arriving today (July 16), fans can finally hear her highly-anticipated pop-punk collab with Avril Lavigne, G R O W.

The two-minute infectious and relatable pop-punk banger hears the pair searching for a sense of inner healing (‘’Cause no-one ever truly knows just who they are / And I feel closer knowing I don't have to hide my scars’), and admitting that they've ‘Still got room to grow.’ The pair are set to debut the track live via a Facebook Watch exclusive concert at 5pm BST tonight: WILLOW IN CONCERT: lately i feel EVERYTHING.

Speaking to Kerrang! about working with Avril and her motivations for the collab, WILLOW revealed: ​“If I was going to do pop-punk I had to go far and beyond. I had to go the full mile. The fact that Avril has been doing pop-punk music for so long gives her the power of just killing it. Like, there is no world where this is not going to be fire. So that was super-inspiring…”

In other news, in February this year, Avril confirmed that her upcoming pop-punk album was finished – and there’s new music on the way: "It’s done!” she wrote to a fan. "Music coming soon. For sure summer.” The musician had previously been in the studio with MOD SUN, John Feldmann and Machine Gun Kelly.
