twenty one pilots and Post Malone cover Don't Look Back In Anger at Leeds festival
This weekend, twenty one pilots made history, headlining their first ever UK festival. The Ohio duo co-headlined a day at this year's Reading & Leeds festivals alongside rapper Post Malone, who just so happened to be just as big an Oasis fan as Tyler and Josh.
During their epic 14-song set that included Heathens, Ride and Chlorine, twenty one pilots also performed a piano-led cover of Oasis' gargantuan hit Don't Look Back In Anger alongside Post Malone on acoustic guitar. You can check out fan footage of the special moment below.
twenty one pilots weren't the only band channelling the power of Noel and Liam Gallagher throughout Reading and Leeds though, as Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins plastered a photo of the pair across his bass drum during their headline performance. In fact, they're reportedly calling for a petition for Oasis to finally reunite.
It could happen, right? In July they were 7/1 odds on to headline Glastonbury next year. So maybe the force of Foos, twenty one pilots and even Post Malone might spur Liam and Noel to reconcile. Hey, weirder things have happened.
twenty one pilots recently released a new video for The Hype, but you can watch them blast through it live at Reading festival below. Bucket hats are cool now, apparently.
