Timothée Chalamet and Pete Davidson portrayed a couple of over-the-top SoundCloud rappers on this weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live.
Host Timothée was joined by comedian and SNL cast member Pete on a joke 'Rap Roundtable' panel, hosted by 'Nunya Bizness' (Ego Nwodim), and also featuring Queen Latifah (played by Punkie Johnson) and Questlove (who played himself).
The 'rap duo' – who seemingly only learned about the genre through TikTok – went by the names Guaplord and $mokecheddathaassgetta in the hilarious sketch, which saw them yelling “yeet” and “skrrt” pretty much constantly rather than saying anything of note, and referring to the “Fall Out Boys” as one of their influences.
