Album review: Cult Of The Lamb – Hymns Of The Unholy
An all-star line-up turn the smash indie game’s futuristic soundtrack into sublime metal bangers.
Trivium are the most recent band to cancel tour dates across Asia in the wake of COVID-19.
COVID-19, the unpredictable and deadly form of coronavirus that is currently moving across the entire world, has made a big impact on the music industry, forcing multiple artists including Green Day, Slipknot, and Marilyn Manson to cancel tour plans in Asia and Europe. Now, metalcore giants Trivium can be added to this list, as the band have canceled their upcoming gigs in Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia, as well as a press stop in Europea, in the wake of the coronavirus.
"Due to circumstances outside of our control we have been forced to postpone all of our tour dates in march in Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia," said the band in a Facebook post "We also will not be making a scheduled press stop in Europe at this time. We hope to re-schedule these dates very soon. Thanks, and stay safe."
This is a bummer for Trivium's Asian fans, but it's obviously understandable.

This comes shortly after the news that Trivium will release their new album, What Dead Men Say, on April 24 of this year. Describing the record, frontman Matt Heafy said, “What The Dead Men Say is everything that is Trivium. On this album, one can hear the proper ingredients of past, present, and future Trivium. The Trivium sound is having everything the band does -- on one album.”
The band followed this news with the release of a single titled Catastrophist. Check out the video for it below:
