My Chemical Romance's second album is in the charts again for the first time since 2005.
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge has re-entered the Billboard 200 Chart for the first time in over a decade, placing at 191.
As it approaches its 15th anniversary on June 8, My Chemical Romance's stunning second album is back in the charts for the first time since 2005 – though it's not yet been confirmed why. According to Billboard's stats, the full-length's peak position following its release in 2004 was number 28, and it has spent an impressive total at 78 weeks in the charts.
Perhaps even more significantly, though, is that we're just two days away from the sixth anniversary of My Chemical Romance's break-up (which was on March 22, 2013); maybe the world is feeling nostalgic and giving it a spin ahead of that date.
On top of that, both Gerard Way and Frank Iero have been extremely active in their own projects recently: Gerard with Netflix's adaptation of The Umbrella Academy, and Frank with his new solo album Barriers.
