Ghost confirm they’ll add more dates to their 2025 world tour
With a new show already added in Mexico City, Ghost’s updated 2025 world tour poster says that there’s ‘More dates to come’.
Glastonbury's famous Pyramid Stage gets scaled-down somewhat in this brilliant LEGO recreation.
While UK festivals are unfortunately being cancelled left, right and centre this summer due to coronavirus, both fans and organisers alike are coming up with new ways to celebrate their favourite musical weekends of the year – from Download's virtual festival in June, to this absolutely ace LEGO recreation of Glastonbury.
Following the cancellation of the 50th anniversary edition of the iconic UK fest – which was due to take place at Worthy Farm on June 24-28 – the event has been recreated by Adam Hardman, who was set to attend his third Glasto this summer. Adam and his housemate Jonathan Oakes set up a mini version in their Warrington back garden, with a star-studded line-up on the (LEGO) Pyramid Stage consisting of Beyoncé, Clint Eastwood, Pulp, Chemical Brothers, Dolly Parton, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.

"COVID-19 wasn’t stopping us from having a little Glastonbury fun," Adam says. Some of best from the YouTube archive was used to throw this together. Note: The clips do get progressively better as the night went on. I hope you enjoy!"
While the set-up and attention to detail is, of course, absolutely awesome, the use of a smoke machine and sparklers really are the cherry on top. Excellent work!
Now, Adam and Jonathan, if you fancy recreating recent Glasto headline sets from Foo Fighters, Metallica and Muse, that'd be just swell.
In a statement regarding the cancellation of this year's Glastonbury, bookers Michael and Emily Eavis said, “We very much hope that the situation in the UK will have improved enormously by the end of June. But even if it has, we are no longer able to spend the next three months with thousands of crew here on the farm, helping us with the enormous job of building the infrastructure and attractions needed to welcome more than 200,000 people to a temporary city in these fields.
“…We were so looking forward to welcoming you all for our 50th anniversary with a line-up full of fantastic artists and performers that we were incredibly proud to have booked. Again, we’re so sorry that this decision has been made. It was not through choice. But we look forward to welcoming you back to these fields next year and until then, we send our love and support to all of you.”
