Static Dress have released a killer new single, sweet.

Ahead of their appearance at Download Pilot this month, Static Dress have just officially shared their first new music of the year (originally performed in March during their Time To Reset livestream) – and it rules.

The Leeds gang's new effort goes by the name sweet., and is another slice of gripping post-hardcore-meets-emo that is already making them one of the UK's most exciting and talked-about young bands, with an aesthetically badass accompanying video directed by vocalist Olli Appleyard.

Speaking to Kerrang! last year about their promising journey so far, Olli pondered: "Success is being able to make an impact that people remember, even after you’ve gone. That’s what matters to me the most – the fact that what you do can change someone for the better, that you’re able to provide something they didn’t have before. Something they needed – or they might not even have known they needed.”
