Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Bring Me The Horizon's new single, Parasite Eve, is arriving next month.
After cryptically teasing new music last week, Oli Sykes has confirmed that Bring Me The Horizon's upcoming single will be released next month.
The song goes by the name Parasite Eve (a phrase that is not only heard in prior teaser snippets of the track from the studio, but is also on Oli's sweater in his latest post on Instagram), and will be out on June 10.
“Thank u very much Cameron for my parasite eve sweater diggin the crop,” he says. “Our new song will be out June 10th oh shit.”
Quiz: How well do you know Bring Me The Horizon's lyrics?
While Horizon have been in the studio working on new music for quite some time now, the frontman explained in a new video titled 00BMTHS2-prologue-.mp4 that Parasite Eve quickly made itself known to be the first song to show fans from the band's next chapter.
“You'll have heard us working on a bunch of songs, but one song we were working on in particular really started to take on a new life,” he said.
“Although the inspiration for the song didn’t come from the current pandemic, as we were writing it the similarities started to get weird, I guess. It felt important for us to carry on with this song in particular because the message really hits differently, because it feels like something we need right now.”
Since the release of the aforementioned video, Bring Me The Horizon have dropped two more teaser clips, which you can check out below:
