As well as working on new Metallica music, James Hetfield has been busy lately putting together a snazzy-looking new coffee table book documenting the frontman's "lifelong passion of restoring and customising classic cars into incredible pieces of art".
Reclaimed Rust: The Four-Wheeled Creations of James Hetfield is due out on July 28 and is available to pre-order now, with limited-edition variants available to ’Tallica's fan club Fifth Members here.

"From the Skyscraper to the Aquarius, to the Black Pearl and beyond, the stunning photos are accompanied by insight from James as to how they were crafted, creating a diary of another phase of his life," explains a description of the book on the band's website, adding that James' cars "are currently on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, which will be re-opening later this week".
