Following on from his fiery cover of Rage Against The Machine's protest anthem Killing In The Name for Black Lives Matter, Machine Gun Kelly is now stripping things right back with an acoustic version of his latest single, Bloody Valentine.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, MGK revealed that the ball for his new record started rolling late last year, with the vibe between himself and Travis so strong when they were writing together in the studio that they ultimately ended up with an entire album.
“This whole thing started out with one studio session,” he said. “We’ve been great friends for a decade. So this was just like, ‘Hey, let’s just do a random day of work.’ The energy was so immense that came from it…
“And it was so powerful that Travis was like, ‘Fuck it, I’m blocking off two months of my life and we’re doing this album.’ So I know it has some of that feel and some of that album’s classic nostalgia in this because otherwise we wouldn’t have just stopped everything we were doing to do this.”
