Green Day, the original Misfits, Amyl And The Sniffers, GEL and more are coming to the California desert in 2025…
Watch Green Day's "punk rock aerobics" video for Here Comes The Shock, their first new music since 2020's Father Of All… album.
Following its debut at NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe on Saturday, Green Day have unveiled a brand-new single, Here Comes The Shock.
The trio's new two-and-a-half-minute effort is a super-fun bundle of energy and comes appropriately accompanied by a "punk rock aerobics" video by Hilken Mancini and Punk Rock Aerobics.
While it isn't clear if the single was leftover or maybe an extension of their Father Of All… sessions, many fans are picking up on Here Comes The Shock having hints of both 2020's FOA… and 2009's 21st Century Breakdown LP in there which is an exciting blend – see what you reckon below.

Speaking to Kerrang! last year following the release of Father Of All…, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong explained that Green Day were all about having fun when it comes to making music these days.
"There’s always this thing of people wanting to move forwards, but I think sometimes it’s important to kind of move sideways," he said. "Father Of All… was just a different thing that we’ve done, and we were able to challenge ourselves, and dig into our musical roots, and put something out there that is taking things to a different place. It was just such a different record for us, and I think it stuck with people. That’s what success is to me these days."

Here comes the shock
We got the numbers
Gonna rumble in the street
We’re screaming bloody murder
We’re gonna take it to the grave
Bebop a lula baby
Annie get your gun
We’re gonna shoot it baby gonna do some damage and some damage will be done
Here comes the shock
We got the creatures and we got no place to go
We’re screaming truth to power
From the barrio
We are the broken records
Sitting in the sun
Turn up the amplifier
Gonna do some damage and some damage will be done
Here comes the shock
