Green Day side-project The Coverups announce 2025 London show
Surprise! Billie Joe Armstrong will be back in London next month for another special show with his side-project The Coverups.
Green Day have announced a surprise Hella Mega Tour warm-up show this week for fully vaccinated fans.
Ahead of the Hella Mega Tour kicking off next week, Green Day have announced a surprise show.
Before they join up with Fall Out Boy and Weezer for their huge stadium run throughout the U.S., Billie Joe Armstrong and co. will be warming up at the 1,800-capacity Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa tomorrow night (July 20). Those lucky enough to grab tickets must be fully vaccinated, with the date of your last injection being no later than July 6.
"It's going down in Tulsa tomorrow night," Green Day say. "We’re doing a surprise warm-up show at Cain's Ballroom!! Tickets on sale now.
"Note: Due to the recent spike in the Delta variant, and because it’s indoors, we’ve been asked to do this as a fully vaccinated show. ID and proof of vaccination will be required for entry for all attendees. No exceptions."

The ticket website also stresses: "Do not purchase tickets if you don't plan on attending, or are not fully vaccinated."
Speaking on Good Morning America last Friday about what he’s most looking forward to about being back onstage in front of a live audience on the Hella Mega Tour, Billie Joe said, "I’m just looking forward to playing again. We’ve been planning this tour for two years now and we got derailed into lockdown, and it’ll just be nice to do what I love doing! I love playing live, and it’s the biggest tour of the summer with three really fun bands, so it should be great."
