Following the recent release of their video for in the dark, Bring Me The Horizon have unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at the making of it.
Taken from the band's latest album amo, released at the start of 2019, in the dark stars actor Forest Whitaker – who you might know from massive movies like Rogue One, Black Panther and The Last King Of Scotland.
Frontman Oli Sykes recently shared of the clip:
"Fun facts: my concepts for the video cost about 5x more than the budget we had so… We used a fish tank for the human incubator and my dad built the base.
"In the tree scene that’s a vacum cleaner, an air conditioner & a dynamo label printer. The monster is a cheap Halloween mask and hands and a bit of CGI. Nearly everything you see is made from trash lying around the Drop Dead warehouse, where we actually filmed the video too… Most of the actors are my close friends or colleagues… who all donated their time to help me pull of my vision… so thanks guys u know who u [are] Just don’t tell forest we used a Henry hoover as a set piece."

Meanwhile, of the song itself, keyboardist Jordan Fish told Kerrang! about in the dark: "It’s from the perspective of someone who’s found out their lover’s been cheating. It’s musically very different for us. We’re so proud of it. We wanted to make sure it was positioned quite early in the record so it wouldn’t get lost. And while it’s poppy, it’s still quite dark. We don’t worry about what people might think of that. It’s not a healthy mind-set to be in when you’re trying to write music."
