Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Watch Bring Me The Horizon perform epic single Ludens live in Tokyo, where they were special guests on tour for BABYMETAL.
When Bring Me The Horizon announced that they would be touring Japan with BABYMETAL, we already know that their shows would be something special. But that was before the band unleashed their epic recent single Ludens, and subsequently started playing it live.
Now, the Sheffield titans have just unveiled a new official live video of their performance of Ludens in Tokyo, complete with backing dancers, that huge drop after frontman Oli Sykes screams, 'Give me a break,' and an entire arena of fans totally in love with what they're watching. It's truly awesome stuff – and more than exceeds our expectations for the BABYMETAL tour.

Speaking to Kerrang! about how Horizon pieced Ludens together, Oli explained: “Now we’ve put six albums out, and we’ve made such different music over the course of that, we’ve learned what works and how you can change stuff up. It’s really just playing with that and pushing it to its limit. We felt like, after [this year’s 5K-rated album] amo, the structures of which were mostly very pop-oriented, we wanted to do something a bit more unmethodical, I guess. We weren’t thinking that we were going to take bits of everything we’ve ever done, but we decided that we can do stuff that we might not have done on amo, and just do whatever we wanted, really.”

In other news, American singer and songwriter Halsey recently explained why her collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon doesn't appear on her forthcoming record, Manic.
“Okay, the Bring Me The Horizon song,” Halsey said. “It’s not on this album, but there’s two – well technically ‘two’ things. One and then something else that are coming out not on my album – for something else with Bring Me The Horizon. And then I have another collaboration with another friend of mine that’s coming out this year too, and I’m putting out so much music next year.”
