blink-182’s Mark Hoppus will appear in London this May to celebrate his Fahrenheit-182 memoir – and he promises it’s going to be “the greatest event in human history”.
blink-182 drummer Travis Barker says the band's upcoming new album will feature Pharrell Williams, and will be out sooner than you think...
It's looking like blink-182's new album will be coming out this spring, and will feature some pretty terrific and perhaps unexpected guest spots.
In an interview with Front Row Live Entertainment at his Musink Music Festival this past weekend, blink-182 drummer Travis Barker discussed his history with the fest, his collaboration with Halsey and Yungblud, and finally, his upcoming album with blink.
"We just worked with Phrarrell on the album," said Travis on the band's progress. "We've also worked with this other producer called the Futuristics, which is like a team. So it's kind of anything goes -- it's the same vibe going on as we had with self-titled. Literally, anything goes. And I think we're creating one of the most important blink albums."
When asked if fans would hear the new offering before the band's upcoming appearance at Warped Tour's 25th anniversary show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Travis said, "It will definitely be out before the Warped Tour. I think we'll be finished up right after the time we play Back To The Beach."

Pharrell's inclusion on the album isn't all that surprising, given that Travis has worked with Yungblud and emo rapper Lil Aaron in the past. But given that Mark Hoppus wants to take the band in weird new directions, we'll be curious to hear it when it drops.
Meanwhile, make sure you catch blink-182 at the Warped Tour 25th anniversary fest this summer in Atlantic City.
