Panic! At The Disco and blink-182 set to headline When We Were Young 2025
Yes, and the rest of the Las Vegas mega-fest’s line-up is absolutely stacked, as ever, including the return of letlive.
blink-182 and Riley Reid team up for a surprising "pre-tour check-up".
In a new video exploring Travis Barker's "pre-tour check-up", blink-182 have recruited porn star Riley Reid as the drummer's nurse.
As a doctor introduces the pair at the beginning of the clip by stating, "Alright Mr Barker, nurse Riley is going to take it from here. And remember: you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Nothing," it soon becomes clear that Travis in fact does have cause for concern, and his visit to this particular establishment isn't exactly conventional as he goes on something of a trip while blink's What's My Age Again? plays in the background.
Given the tour that the pop-punk trio are teasing here is the 20th anniversary of Enema Of The State – the album of which famously features porn star Janine Lindemulder on the cover – it's not altogether surprising to see blink revisit those themes two decades later.
Recently speaking to The Face, Enema Of The State's cover photographer David Goldman reflected: “Initially the album was gonna be called Turn Your Head And Cough, so for me it seemed obvious – there would be a nurse and she would have a glove on and she would grab your balls and tell you to cough. That gesture implies a prostate exam but whatever – it’s a graphic shape. And they picked the model.
“They were just three young guys who have asked for a porn star to be on their album and got her. It was an exciting time – they were kinda like high-school kids [who have] the hot girl showing them interest.”
