Travis Barker reveals he’s recorded two albums in the past two months
blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been very busy in the studio since the band got back from tour…
The dudes of blink-182 have nothing but love for Weezy.
Remember back in July when Lil Wayne walked off stage in Bristow, Virginia while he was on the road with blink-182, and everyone thought he was quitting the tour? And then he didn’t end up quitting the tour after all?
In case you need a refresher, check out the video below, where he says, ““I just want the people to know, if you’re wondering, please forgive me but I am so not used to performing to a crowd – and there’s not too many – that’s not my swag,” says Lil Wayne. “I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour, but make some noise for blink-182. This might be my last night, though.”
The next day, he tweeted this:
In a recent interview with KROQ, blink-182 have finally opened up about that situation -- and had nothing but great things to say about the rapper.
The interviewer asked, “How much of a nightmare was Lil Wayne?” and the band defended him right off the bat.
“He was awesome,” said Mark Hoppus. “He was awesome, his band was amazing, his whole crew, everybody. It was so fun all summer long.”

The three members, Mark, Matt, and Travis, explained that they were never that annoyed about him missing dates, because there was always an understandable reason.
Travis explained, “The one day where he walked off stage, he had said, ‘I just felt like they didn’t like me,’ so he walked off stage… ‘I didn’t want to put them through it. I just wanted you guys to be able to get on and do your thing.’”

We’re stoked that they’re all still good buds.
