Black Sabbath's beloved Paranoid album is getting the deluxe box set treatment for its 50th anniversary
To mark the 50th anniversary of their landmark album Paranoid, heavy metal legends Black Sabbath are releasing a huge new commemorative box set.
Originally released on September 18, 1970, (just seven months after their self-titled debut) Sabbath's Paranoid album was their first to top the charts in the UK, and featured eight of heavy metal's most iconic tracks including War Pigs, Iron Man and (of course) the title track.
The Super Deluxe edition of Paranoid comes in either a 5LP or 4CD version, which include the original album, a rare 1974 quadrophonic mix of the album, plus two concerts from 1970 recorded in Brussels and Montreux.
The 5LP set also includes a hardbound book featuring interviews with all four band members, rare photos, a poster, a replica Paranoid tour book and other memorabilia.
Paranoid: Super Deluxe Edition is released October 9 and available to pre-order now.
