Album review: Andrew W.K. – God Is Partying
The ultimate party king Andrew W.K. takes a trip to the heart of darkness…
To celebrate the announcement of his new album God Is Partying, Andrew W.K. has shared his "most intense single yet", I'm In Heaven.
Following the release of February's Babalon, Andrew W.K. has shared his "most intense single yet", and confirmed details of his new album God Is Partying.
The party titan's fifth LP is due out on September 10 via Napalm Records, and is described as a "nine-track opus of maximalist rock grandeur". We wouldn't expect anything less.
Andrew co-produced the entire thing alongside recording partner Ted Young, and also performed every single instrument you'll hear on it, which is pretty damn awesome.

Palmer explains of the accompanying video: “A secret is no longer a secret if it isn’t being kept, and this is how we approached the spirit of meaning as it applies to the non-diegetic sound images in the I’m In Heaven video.”
