Here’s the first big line-up announcement for Roadburn 2024

Three weeks ago, Khanate confirmed a spot at next year’s Roadburn. And now the Netherlands fest have made a bigger line-up announcement for 2024…

Joining the reunited U.S. avant-doomsters in heading over to Tilburg from April 18 – 21 are the newly-announced The Jesus And Mary Chain, Chelsea Wolfe, Lankum, clipping., Agriculture, Fluisteraars, Cloakroom, Dödsrit and Devil Master, as well as Hexvessel performing Polar Veil in full, and Mat McNerney doing a commissioned performance entitled Music for Gloaming: A Nocturne by the Hexvessel Folk Assembly.

“With this announcement, we are diving straight into the heart of what Roadburn 2024 is about,” explains Roadburn’s artistic director, Walter Hoeijmakers. “These artists that we are proud to unveil today are all of great significance for what the festival has become in recent times. We feel these artists represent the broad scope of Roadburn. With the first of the commissioned music projects also being revealed, we are as always, looking firmly into the future as well, presenting entirely new music. This is the start of many great things to come.”
