Listen to The Darkness’ glorious new single, Walking Through Fire
Taken from next month’s Dreams On Toast album, The Darkness have unveiled a new single about the fact that “nothing worthwhile is ever easy…”
The Darkness have announced that the Manchester and Newcastle gigs on their current UK headline tour have been pushed back…
The Darkness have been tearing it up around the UK lately in anticipation of their new album Dreams On Toast – which drops on March 28 via Cooking Vinyl – but unfortunately two upcoming dates on the tour have just been rescheduled.
The rock’n’roll titans have announced that frontman Justin Hawkins unfortunately has a chest infection, and therefore tonight’s Newcastle show and tomorrow’s gig in Manchester have been pushed back to the end of March/beginning of April. The tour should pick up again as planned at the Bristol Beacon Theatre on March 24.
“It is with great regret that we have to announce that Justin has been diagnosed with a chest infection this morning, and told by the doctor that he cannot sing for a few days,” reads a brief statement from the band. “As a result, The Darkness’ shows and VIP events in Newcastle and Manchester will be rescheduled as follows: Manchester Apollo: Monday 31st March. Newcastle O2 City Hall: Tuesday 1st April. All current tickets will be valid for the rescheduled shows. If you are unable to make the new dates, refunds can be obtained from the point of purchase.”
Get well soon, Justin!
