The Batman director Matt Reeves has shared a five-minute deleted scene from Arkham Asylum between Batman (Robert Pattinson) and the Joker (Barry Keoghan) – and it’s so wonderfully creepy…
While we didn't get much of a glimpse of him in The Batman, a newly-released five-minute deleted scene gives us a proper look at Barry Keoghan’s absolutely horrifying Joker.
Director Matt Reeves shared this gripping new clip – filmed at Arkham Asylum – after fans solved multiple riddles via the website rataalada.com (“Once you’ve been set up, it hits you at the end. Straight on.” “To wit: a wild card in the truest sense.” “It’s not a joke, but sometimes you need to shout it twice to really mean it”).
It properly introduces Barry's gruesome version of the supervillain, with scarring all over his head, face and hands, plus Joker's famous make-up. Once the full scene was shared, the actor tweeted: "Honestly I am stuck for words but I am very very BLESSED to play this role after the AMAZING AMAZING Actors before me. Here’s my version. Enjoy."
