Album review: Ocean Grove – ODDWORLD
Melbourne party-starters Ocean Grove get weird in both good ways and bad on album number four…
The All Brights, featuring singer-songwriter extraordinaire Dave Hause, are premiering new jam Happy Hours exclusively with Kerrang!
The All Brights, featuring singer-songwriter extraordinaire Dave Hause, are premiering new jam Happy Hours exclusively with Kerrang!.
The track is lifted from the self-professed yacht-punks’ …Are Wild For The Night EP, which is out digitally on October 30, and physically on November 6. Pre-order the release now at this link, and give the group a like on Facebook at facebook.com/theallbrights. Stream Happy Hours below, and let us know what you think in the comments!
“What IS “Yacht Punk”, you ask? Well, brah, it’s about babes, white privilege, tasty bevvies, and righteous waves,” the foursome say. “Hailing from Santa Barbara (where else?), these four under-employed beach bros are the answer to all those uptight political punk bands with their “message” and their “anarchy”. Rumor has it that members “Big Wave Dave” was in The Loved Ones and “Shreddin’ Sean” plays in Good Riddance, but that can’t possibly be true since everyone in The All Brights are way more tanned and toned than those aforementioned dorks. You heard of Rich Kids on LSD? Well, these are just rich kids. So grab your favorite ascot and a bottle of Veuve, and climb aboard before John Stamos tries to join this band and ruin them too.”
