Live review: Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium on The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour, London The O2
Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium’s joint assault on The O2 feels not so much like a nostalgia fest as a mutual fulfilment of destiny…
Guitar hero Sophie Lloyd has dropped new single Fall Of Man featuring Matt Heafy – and she says working with the Trivium frontman was a “dream come true”.
Sophie Lloyd and Matt Heafy have teamed up for a huge new single, Fall Of Man.
The metal epic sees Sophie finally working with Trivium’s frontman after being a fan of the band for many, many years.
“Working with Matthew K. Heafy has been a dream come true!” she says. “Trivium have been one of my favourite bands since I was a kid, I used to dye my own Trivium T-shirts and wear them every day.”
Matt returns the compliments and calls Sophie “an immensely talented force of a musician and songwriter”.
“I recall first seeing Sophie’s guitar playing online and being truly blown away,” he says, “so having been a fan of Sophie’s for several years, I was honoured when asked to guest on an upcoming track. When I learned that Trivium had been a long-time favourite band of Sophie’s, I was humbled and appreciative.”
