2000trees have made their final band announcement for 2023, with SOFT PLAY – formerly Slaves – headlining, and Hell Is For Heroes, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Haggard Cat and more also playing the fest.
The final band announcement for this year’s 2000trees is here!
The festival have confirmed that SOFT PLAY (formerly called Slaves) will be headlining the July bash alongside the previously-announced Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Bullet For My Valentine.
“Absolutely buzzing to be back headlining 2000trees after all this time,” say the band, having headlined as Slaves in 2017. “It’s gonna be mental.”
“We’re thrilled to be able to confirm SOFT PLAY – formerly known as Slaves – are headlining the Thursday at 2000trees!” adds organiser James Scarlett. “New name, same songs, same incredible live show! They first played the festival in an early slot in 2014 before headlining in 2017 – so to have them back again now both the band and festival are bigger and better than ever is going to be something special.”
Elsewhere, the festival has unveiled further new additions in the form of Dinosaur Pile-Up, Hell Is For Heroes, B-Sydes, Bilk, Beach Riot, CARSICK, congratulations, Clarence, Gaffa Tape Sandy, Haggard Cat, Love Is Noise and NOISY.
2000trees takes place from July 5 – 8.
