Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
“Be prepared for an energy you’ve never experienced before…” promises Clown of Slipknot’s 25th anniversary UK and European tour, which kicks off in Amsterdam on December 5 and wraps up in London just five days before Christmas.
Get ready, maggots: Slipknot are returning to the UK and Europe in a year’s time!
The Iowa metal legends will be celebrating their 25th anniversary – with their iconic debut, self-titled album having been released in summer 1999 – across the pond in December 2024.
“It has been 25 years since we first played on the continent, and we’ve been back ever since,” says Clown. “The memories I have from all those times are life-changing, and we’re ready to make more.
“I’m so excited to bring our 25 year anniversary tour to Europe and the UK. Be prepared for an energy you’ve never experienced before. It’s happening.”
The tour kicks off at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on December 5, and will conclude in London, at The O2, just five days before Christmas on December 20. Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 15, at 10am.
