Sleep Token tease new single via weatherman Chris Michaels

Following the genuinely monumental release of lead single Emergence earlier this month, it looks like we’ll be getting another new Sleep Token song sometime soon.

Metalhead weatherman Chris Michaels – who, as well as featuring as the weekend morning meteorologist at WRAL, is known for subtly getting band lyrics into his TV reports – has taken to Instagram to encourage fans to “Prepare”. He’s standing at his desk in the studio in front of a screen showing the band’s logo, and of course “Prepare” is very much Sleep Token lingo for ‘There’s new music coming’.

Chris also teases the date March 29 (this Saturday), which is unusual given that most bands don’t release new music at weekends. So perhaps we’ll find out more info then at the very least – like if this new track is perhaps the mysterious Side B to the sold-out Emergence 7” vinyl?
