Sixx:A.M. have unveiled a new social media campaign to get people to change the world
For anyone thinking that Nikki Sixx may be taking a break post-Mötley Crüe, think again. Not only are Sixx:A.M. releasing their new record Prayers For The Damned on April 29 via Eleven Seven Music, they’re also gearing up for a whole summer of touring, including an appearance at Download Festival on June 11. As if that wasn’t enough, Sixx:A.M. have also just launched a brand new social media campaign. To tie in with the theme of their latest single Rise, the band are asking fans to look around and acknowledge the issues of social justice that they want to confront using the hashtag #ReasonToRise.
Explaining their reasons for the campaign, Nikki told CNN: “Throughout history, some of the most dramatic changes have occurred when people reject the status quo and demand change, a sentiment completely encompassed by the musicianship, lyrics, and passion of Rise”.
