ratbag drops first new single of 2024, pinky boy

ratbag has just released her first new music of the year.

Following 2023’s debut EP why aren’t you laughing?, this month the rising New Zealand alternative artist has unveiled pinky boy to kick off a whole new chapter.

She reveals that it’s a song about “shitty boyfriends and poorly treated pussycats. It describes the dynamic between an unappreciative boyfriend infuriatingly unable to recognise the talent, intelligence and deep coolness of the woman he’s dating.”
