Public Enemy’s Chuck D Mocks Kanye West's Dismal Election Result

Big news: there’s an election happening in America. And, in the spirit of those local ‘characters’ like Screaming Lord Sutch, Lord Buckethead and Count Binface who add themselves to the ballot for satirical banter, comic creation Kanye West put himself on the docket for the presidential race this time. Fucking hilarious, champ! Wot a fucking legend!

Anyway, as with all these things, nobody actually expected Kanye to actually do well, just to add some light comic relief to proceedings and a bit more indignity to an already undignified race. In the event, Yeezy tallied fewer than 60,000 votes in total, around 0.3 per cent of total cast so far.

And, obviously, has been neither threat nor help to fellow comedy invention Donald Trump.

Word is that Kanye is already planning on reprising his character for a Borat 2-styled sequel in time for the 2024 election.
