One of the most exciting new bands in the scene today, Pinkshift are continuing to build on their already impressive momentum with the announcement of their debut album Love Me Forever.
The highly-anticipated LP is due out on October 21 via Hopeless Records, with new single – and album opener – i’m not crying, you’re crying out now (watch the lyric video below).
Of that particular tune, vocalist Ashrita Kumar explains that it’s “the one song on the record that I didn’t start with a particular direction, just raw and unfiltered emotion.
“As the first song on Love Me Forever, it kicks the record off with a panicked denial – an immediately attacking response to the question of ‘Are you okay?’ untrusting and doubtful of the intent and sincerity of that question.”
