Papa Roach announce U.S. tour with Rise Against and Underoath
Papa Roach, Rise Against and special guests Underoath are hitting the U.S. next year, with Tim McIlrath promising that, “This will be the best damn tour of 2025!”
Listen to Tightrope 2020, an updated version of Papa Roach's hidden track on Infest.
As Papa Roach continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album Infest, the band have shared Tightrope 2020 – a new version of the LP's hidden track.
The song originally followed Thrown Away on the album's tracklist, and was a reggae-tinged update on a version from the band's 1999 EP Let ’Em Know. Now, the California rap-metallers have changed up Tightrope yet again, with their latest rendition produced and mixed by Colin Brittain (All Time Low, ONE OK ROCK, A Day To Remember).

As well as honouring the album that started it all, Papa Roach are also looking ahead to new music this year. In fact, last month frontman Jacoby Shaddix confirmed that the group already had “seven or eight pieces of music for the next record” – the follow-up to 2019’s Who Do You Trust?.
“The stuff we’re writing right now is fucking on fire, dude,” he said. “Some of it’s just heavy and nuts and just aggressive with these massive, big, pummelling riffs. And then there’s other stuff that’s that kind of experimental all-over-the-place-type stuff. We wrote this other song, like a ballad, where it’s just guitar and vocals, and it’s so stirring and emotional. This time [during the coronavirus crisis] has definitely stirred up something in the band that’s coming out really cool in the music.”
