Album review: Ocean Grove – ODDWORLD
Melbourne party-starters Ocean Grove get weird in both good ways and bad on album number four…
Listen to Ocean Grove’s new single FLY AWAY, which the band call a “return to our sonic roots and the definitive OG sound”.
Ocean Grove have just unleashed a mammoth new single, FLY AWAY.
The track is the Melbourne trio’s first for SharpTone Records, who the band have signed to for all releases outside of their native Australia (and New Zealand).
“We’re very pumped to be joining the SharpTone Records family,” enthuses vocalist Dale Tanner. “We feel more ready than ever to represent a label of their calibre and are so grateful for their confidence in us. In return, we hope to bring a fresh and unique sound to their roster as they take The Oddworld global.”
Speaking about FLY AWAY, Dale continues that the single is “a return to our sonic roots and the definitive OG sound. With an injection of fresh energy and experimentation, the song primes the new era of Ocean Grove with a hard and heavy edge.”
