Album review: Bokassa – All Out Of Dreams
Norwegian riff-lords Bokassa headbang towards a hopeless future on riotous fourth album All Out Of Dreams…
Bokassa release single Mouthbreathers Inc from new album Crimson Riders
Bokassa have announced details of their new album Crimson Riders, due for release on June 21.
It will be the follow-up to the band's 2017 album Divide And Conquer, and comes just one day after their spot supporting Metallica at Twickenham Stadium in the UK.
“Bokassa are incredibly fucking good," Lars Ulrich told Kerrang! earlier this year. "The songs they write, their whole energy and vibe is such a breath of fresh air. When I heard their music a year ago, they blew my head off. Getting a chance to introduce them to a wider audience is going to be super cool.”
To mark the new album news, Bokassa have released brand new single Mouthbreathers Inc.
“We are very excited to release Crimson Riders," say Bokassa. "Nine songs which revolve around everything from cults, religion, and border patrols to beer-drinking anti-heroes and immortal space pirates! Sonically, the album gives the listener everything from classic stoner-punk tracks, groovy desert songs, and high speed thrash metal, to hardcore-oriented sing-a-longs. This time we also played around with both cellos and saxophone in the studio so expect a few curve-balls here and there.”

Bokassa are supporting Metallica in the UK and Europe this summer. They will be playing Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 18 and London’s Twickenham Stadium on June 20. Get your Manchester tickets or your London tickets now.
