My Chemical Romance are returning to the UK for the first time in nine years.
Following a couple of weeks of cryptic (and agonising) teasers, it's official: My Chemical Romance are coming back to the UK this summer!
My Chem will be playing three shows at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes. Having originally announced a sole date on June 20 (which sold out in an hour) followed by another show at the same venue for June 21, MCR have just announced that they will also play the football stadium on Thursday June 18.
Tickets for Thursday's show are on sale now.
In an epic two-and-a-half minute video titled An Offering, the New Jersey emo heroes have announced that they'll be playing Stadium MK in Milton Keynes on June 20 – but the news didn't come before a typically spooky clip of a cloaked figure walking slowly through a dark forest and then throwing a dagger at a pentagram on the floor. BRB while we start searching for theories on what the hell that means.

Anyway, tickets for My Chem's third huge UK show – their first since they headlined Reading & Leeds back in 2011 – go on sale this Thursday, January 30.
Good luck – it's gonna be a popular one…

It was recently announced that the band’s epic December 20 reunion show last year was in fact the highest-grossing gig for LA venue The Shrine of all time; it grossed a total of $1,451,745 according to the band’s agency Paradigm, as well as also reaching high figures in merch sales.
Speaking to Variety late last year, Paradigm’s Matt Galle said of how the show came about in the first place: “They had been getting offers for [the last] seven to eight years, and had been talking for a while and trying to figure out the right time, and 2019 was a year that that made sense to them. They had some backstory with their [2010 album] Danger Days. They knew they wanted to do one show and now it’s kind of taken on a life of its own. I think they’re excited about the demand and the response and what else is coming for next year.”
