The days might be getting ever shorter, darker and colder, but there are some things to look forward to as winter tightens its grip on the world. And here’s one of them – Beartooth and Motionless In White have announced they’re teaming up for a set of co-headline winter dates they’re calling the Diseased & Disguised tour.
The 14-date tour will begin on January 4 in Seattle, and wind up on January 30 in Fort Lauderdale. There is also a promise of some special guests who will be opening the shows, but as of yet they remain a mystery.
Motionless In White released their fifth studio album, Disguise, back in June of this year, while Beartooth’s third full-length, Disease, came out in September last year.

Both bands are truly awesome live prospects, so the two of them touring together should result in some exhilarating gigs. There’s no news on whether the tour might make its way overseas to the UK, but if we all ask nicely, perhaps they’ll take pity on us.
In the meantime, we can listen to Beartooth’s Blackbird Session EP. Released in September, the acoustic released featured four Beartooth songs made over in a country/folk style and recorded at the famous Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
Will Caleb Shomo be busting out the old acoustic on these dates? Probably not, but anything is possible, so you never know.
