Linkin Park, Metallica, Korn, Bad Omens and more for Sonic Temple festival 2025
Sonic Temple is going bigger than ever for 2025 with Metallica, Korn, Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Poppy, Motionless In White and more across four days...
It'll be out on 13th April on the original formats.
Metallica are reissuing a freshly remastered version of The $5.98 EP - Garage Days Re-Revisited on the 13th of April.
Originally released over 30 years ago on August 21st 1987, the collection features the band covering songs by early Metallica influences such as Diamond Head, Holocaust, Killing Joke, Budgie and The Misfits. The five songs from the EP were later included as a part of the 1998 release Garage, Inc., but the band felt it was time to bring it back on the original formats:
"Keeping with our '80s theme, the remastered EP will not only be released as a CD and download, but also as several vinyl versions including a picture disc, as a cassette and in a longbox," notes the band's official site. "You youngsters can search the web for that term."
This also marks the first time this specific version is available to UK-based fans as the track The Wait was not included on the original version of the EP.
The $5.98 EP - Garage Days Re-Revisited is scheduled for an April 13 release, but fans can pre-order their copies now. All pre-orders come with an instant download of the remastered version of The Wait, which you can check out right here:
