Linkin Park, Metallica, Korn, Bad Omens and more for Sonic Temple festival 2025

The totals are in from Metallica's huge European WorldWired… tour, and they've donated an incredible amount of money to local charities throughout their time on the road.
Over the past few months, Kerrang! have been reporting on Metallica's many charitable donations of late – from €250,000 to a Pediatric Oncology and Radiotherapy Hospital in Romania, to £40,000 to a homeless charity in Manchester.
Now, it's been revealed that the metal kings – along with their All Within My Hands Foundation – gave away a whopping €1.5 million to local charities across the 25 dates of their European WorldWired… tour this year, which is an absolutely incredible amount of money.
On Twitter, the band wrote: "A HUGE thanks to all who attended a #WorldWired European show for helping us donate over €1.5million to local charities over the course of the 25-show tour. And special thanks to #MetInMannheim fans for wrapping it up with this contribution to Freezone. #MetallicaGivesBack #AWMH"

Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation was founded in 2017, and is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services. The website showcases scholars who have funded their education through the foundation and changed their lives for the better.
