Mark Tremonti Announces New Album

The master of shredding, Mark Tremonti, has announced his next solo album.
Alter Bridge‘s legendary guitarist Mark Tremonti has just unveiled new details of his next solo album. The album, titled Dust, is due for the release on April 29th via Fret 12 records. Notably, Dust was spawned from the same recording sessions as his 4K-rated 2015 album, Cauterize, and was made with Eric Friedman on guitars, Wolfgang Van Halen on bass, and Garrett Whitlock on drums. You can read our interview with Mark from last year in which he explains why he chose to split Cauterize and Dust into two albums.
In the interview, Mark tells K!: “I left a lot of my favourite songs on the second album because I never wanted anybody to hear the first and be like, ‘This is the A-sides, and this is the B’. It’s not that case at all. The next album starts off with a song called My Last Mistake that hits you square in the teeth. And Dust, the title track, is the best chorus on both records.”
