Travis Barker reveals he’s recorded two albums in the past two months
blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been very busy in the studio since the band got back from tour…
Will we see more special blink-182 shows this summer?
This Saturday (June 1), blink-182's third studio album Enema Of The State will celebrate its 20th birthday. Yes, that's right, What's My Age Again? is now twenty years old and we feel older than the moon.
To mark the occasion, somewhat ahead of schedule, blink-182 played the album in full at Back To The Beach festival in April, with Adam's Song and Anthem receiving their first airing in two decades.
But if you weren't one of the lucky few at Huntington State Beach to see Enema Of The State in its entirety, there may be some good news on the horizon.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, blink's Mark Hoppus has hinted that the band might be up for doing it again this year.
Twitter user Malört Mami asked Mark: "Is there a chance you’re going to play another or the same album in full at an upcoming show that may or may not have been announced yet?"
To which Mark replied: "it’s possible that we might play enema of the state in its entirety just for fun at some shows this summer. maybe."
blink-182 are touring across North America this summer with Lil Wayne and Neck Deep in support. They're also part of the Warped Tour 25th anniversary on June 30 – surely they'll have to play EOTS in full at Warped Tour?
Earlier this year, drummer Travis Barker said that they would release a new album before June. Which only gives them a week... Hurry up, guys!
Mark's other project Simple Creatures (with All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth) are playing this year's Download festival on June 14-16. Get your tickets now.
