Album review: Cult Of The Lamb – Hymns Of The Unholy
An all-star line-up turn the smash indie game’s futuristic soundtrack into sublime metal bangers.
Trivium’s Matt Heafy has teamed up with singer-songwriter Jonathan Young for a crushing cover of Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire, from 2013’s The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug.
Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has taken to Twitter to preview a very metal Ed Sheeran cover.
Teaming up with Jonathan Young, the pair will be dropping their crushing rendition of I See Fire “very soon”. As you can hear from the raging bridge – ‘And as the sky is falling it crashed into this lonely town / And with that shadow upon the ground I hear my people screaming out’ – it’s a much different take on the 2013 ballad, which was originally featured on the soundtrack to The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug.
Can’t wait for the full version – but in the meantime, enjoy this…
