An all-star line-up turn the smash indie game’s futuristic soundtrack into sublime metal bangers.
Trivium have released their take on Type O Negative's 2003 hit
Trivium have released their cover of Type O Negative's track I Don't Wanna Be Me.
Originally released for Record Store Day on limited-edition 7" vinyl, Trivium have made their take on Pete Steele and co.'s classic available for streaming and download.
I Don't Wanna Be Me was released on Type O's penultimate album Life Is Killing Me in 2003.
This is the first 'new' material we've heard from Trivium since 2017's The Sin And The Sentence. The artwork for the cover seems to be an amalgamation of said album and 2015's Silence In The Snow.
Trivium frontman Matt Heafy is no stranger to covers, of course. As a prominent Twitch enthusiast, he regularly plays metallic cover versions for fans, including Backstreet Boys' I Want It That Way, Bullet For My Valentine's Tears Don't Fall and Britney Spears' Baby One More Time.
Trivium are playing the main stage at Download festival on June 14-16. Get your tickets now.
